WSP provided essential support for development of the wind farms, including identifying potential sites, researching the local energy market, analyzing legal and financial feasibility, analyzing wind resources, and assessing possible business models. In addition, WSP is responsible for managing land and construction, project planning and design, fundraising, processing permits and licenses, and performing environmental impact assessments. PIER II 66 Wind Farm was commissioned in 2015. PIER 220 MW is scheduled to be commissioned by 2017.
