As part of the City of Sydney’s ambition to reach net zero emissions by 2035 we have played a key role in demonstrating ways to drive down GHG emissions in the built environment in Greater Sydney.

The area around Karens Minde in Copenhagen's old South Harbour district is to be urbanized and climate-adapted as part of a single project.

WSP worked with Ashby Capital and Janson Urban to reuse and grow the existing structure of the Kensington Building, which created larger more effective retail and office spaces while reducing carbon emissions from construction. 

WSP has been instrumental to the redevelopment of the theatre and a new recital hall for students at the Royal Academy of Music at Regent’s Park in central London.

Transforming a historic industrial building into a world-class science centre.

Life in the small town of Viby in Denmark has been enriched by the recently completed Cultural Centre and Library which provides a new gathering place, or living room, for the community. The project has been honoured as a Best Project in the 2022 ENR Global Best Projects Awards.

The first public art museum in Australia to achieve a 6-star Green Star design rating. WSP worked with Atelier Ten and the Art Gallery of New South Wales during the design phase to ensure ecologically sustainable design outcomes were achieved.

The Seattle Aquarium, located at Pier 59 along the Seattle waterfront, underwent a $60,000,000 renovation; its first major renovation in 30 years. WSP USA provided MEP engineering, including an underfloor air distribution system and natural ventilation.

Working with landscape architects Valley Crest Design Group and architects Ware Malcomb, WSP’s lighting design team has brought magical energy to the first of multiple parks under design and construction within Orange County’s Great Park for FivePoint Communities.
