In the face of growing demand, the Seattle District of the USACE needed renovations and expansions to the Madigan, Beachwood, Clarkmoor and Youthcenter Child Development Centers (CDC).
Working closely with USACE, WSP served as the lead consultant responsible for project management, including initial and final designs for the civil and structural components of the total renovation and expansion of the facilities, ultimately allowing each to accommodate an additional 60 children. The WSP team also installed and deployed data and security infrastructure and life safety systems, as well as supporting facilities and force protection measures.
